Telugu star Nikhil Siddhartha was stopped by the Hyderabad Police while he was on his way to deliver lifesaving medicines to a patient at Kims Minister Road.

Just when things seemed to be getting back to normal, we were struck by the second wave of COVID-19. The second wave showed a steep increase in the number of cases. And worst of all, the country became vulnerable due to the shortage of medicines, hospital beds, Vaccines, etc. Amidst these circumstances, various people have been trying their best to help the needy ones by providing medical help. Some of these noble personalities are our celebrities that are helping others while spreading awareness. 

Recently, as Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha was trying to help someone in a medical emergency, he was stopped by the Police. The actor took to his Twitter handle to spread light over this topic. Sharing the pictures from the place where he was stopped. 

Explaining the situation, Nikhil said that he was on his way to Kims Minister Road to deliver some life-saving emergency medicines. Writing further, the actor said that while on his way he was stopped by the Hyderabad Police and was asked for the reason. The actor provided them with the prescription and details of the patient and even after that he was asked to get an E-pass. The actor tried to get an Epass on the spot but even after trying 9 times, he wasn't able to get one because of the server issue. Adding further, he wrote, "I thought medical emergencies were allowed!!!". 

After seeing the post, the Hyderabad City Police replied to Nikhil's post by asking him for the details of his location. The Police assured him that they would resolve his concerns ASAP.
