Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been focussing on her professional career, following the split with actor Naga Chaitanya. After the announcement of her split with Chay, the actor wrapped up her mythological drama ‘Shaakuntalam’. Soon after that, she got busy with her upcoming Tamil flick ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathy.

Well, it seems Samantha has been trying all the possible methods to keep herself busy. This has in turn proven to benefit her. 

She has also signed an untitled movie that is being bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.



From the looks of it, she is currently scaling great heights in terms of her career and her performance in ‘The Family Man 2’ has secured her a place in Bollywood. The viewers welcomed her with open arms and praised her performance in the web series.

Owing to all the development around her career, Samantha's remuneration has reportedly increased, and she now asks between Rs 3-4 crore for a film, reported DNA. 

Star heroines like Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna are being paid around Rs 2.5 crore. Surpassing everyone, Samantha has reached the stardom that she earned over the years. While Rs 3 crore looks heavy on the pockets, filmmakers don’t mind roping in Samantha owing to her fan-following and the excellent performance she pulls off.


Due to her Bollywood debut, the actor has also been in the news. With Taapsee Pannu's production firm Outsider films, she will shortly make her Bollywood debut.


In a career spanning over a decade, Samantha is considered one of the most popular actresses in the south. She debuted in the Telugu film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, directed by Gautham Menon (2010).
