Salaar: Prabhas, Shruti Haasan And Prashanth Neel Complete The First Schedule After Kick-Starting The Shoot In Mid-Jan
The shooting of Prabhas starrer Salaar was kick-started in mid-Jan and now the first schedule of the film has been completed
Actors Prabhas and Shruti Haasan starrer Salaar has grabbed a lot of attention, all thanks to KGF as the director of the film Prashanth Neel is also helming the Prabhas starrer. The team had announced commencing the shoot of the film in mid-January and now it is learnt that the first schedule of the film has been completed already. The same was informed by cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda who took to his Instagram to share the news. He shared a picture from the sets where the crew is seen working hard to shoot the film.
Sharing the picture, Gowda who was also behind KGF wrote, “Climbing a mountain. #SALAAR end of 1st schedule.” Speaking to Bangalore Times, Prashanth revealed details about what draws him to violence, he was quoted saying, “We don't have a culture of using the World War or such subjects as premises for our films. So, my logic is that the stronger the villain is, the stronger the heroism that can be shown onscreen. I try to create an environment where it offers both of these. In our given scenario, I will not be able to achieve villainy to that level, nor will I be able to elevate heroism to that point. This is why I try to make my world more violent.”
He even revealed the meaning of Salaar saying that it is a colloquial word but for him, it is commander-in-chief - the right-hand man to a king. Neel even gave his views on the first look of Salaar which mean, “The character that I am trying to portray is dark and I wanted to make that clear from the outset. The first look had to explain the nature of the movie, without giving out too much detail. An image like this could also suggest that he is in the army, which is why I added the caption to avoid any such confusion.”
