RRR: Kangana Ranaut Calls SS Rajamouli Her 'Role Model'; Says, 'The Best Thing About Him Is His Humility As An Artist, Sadagi As A Person'
Kangana Ranaut heaps praises on SS Rajamouli
After calling Deepika Padukone’s film Gehraiyaan ‘trash’ and taking a dig at Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut is all praise for SS Rajamouli’s recent release ‘RRR’. The magnum opus is running successfully globally and has managed to earn 600 Crore at the worldwide box office. Kangana Ranaut recently took to Instagram to shower praise on SS Rajamouli.
The actress, who is known for her bold and blunt personality, recently took to her Instagram Stories and called SS Rajamouli 'the greatest Indian director ever’. Not only this, Kangana also said that the director loves his ‘nation and dharma’ which was evident in this work.
Kangana wrote, "SS Rajamouli Sir has proved he is the greatest Indian film director ever...He has never ever given an unsuccessful film. Yet the best thing about him is not his success but his humility as an artist, sadgi (simplicity) as a person, and his great love for his nation and dharma. Great to have a role model like you sir...Sincerely your fan."
Talking about SS Rajamouli's RRR, the total budget of the film was 450 Crores and it has successfully achieved 600 Crores. RRR is doing rock-solid business and is roaring in every nook and corner of the country, not only in regional cinema but also in the Hindi belt. The film has already grossed over 100 Crore in the Hindi version.
‘RRR’ stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris among others.
On the other hand, Kangana's upcoming projects include Dhaakad, Tejas, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, Sita: The Incarnation and Emergency, based on former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
