Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun was an enormous hit all over India. Post the release of the film every event or festival that came had its flavour. Film’s dialogues, music, dance steps and mannerisms grabbed the eyeballs. Earlier during Navratri, the choreography of Garba's steps was inspired by the film. Now, as Diwali is around the corner, it seems that Pushpa fever has taken over the festival of lights.

Diwali is the biggest festival in India where people come together, decorate their homes, make rangoli, and burst crackers. But it seems that this time firecrackers are available with a tinge of Pushpa flavor. A video has gone viral in which people are seen buying firecrackers from a shop in Thane East Mumbai.

The thing that grabbed everyone’s eyeball is packaging and boxes of crackers. They have Allu Arjun’s image, sketches and pictures on them, especially Allu Arjun’s Pushpa’s look. Even the crackers are named after the movie like Pushpa Anaar, and Pushpa Rocket to name a few. This makes the occasion more interesting. The video has the background music of ‘Oo Antava’s’ Hindi version.

Talking about the significance of Diwali, Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and defeated Ravana. So on the occasion of Diwali, devotees lit diyas in their houses and doorstep which is also a symbol of a ray of hope. It is said that when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya it was ‘New Moon, Amavsya’ and everything was dark, people lit diya to welcome him. Now, it has become a ritual to lit diya every year during Dipawali.
