Pooja Hedge and Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was a blockbuster upon its release. On Sunday, Pooja Hedge dressed in a purple one-shoulder gown was named the best actress (Telugu) for her role in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo at the announcement of SIIMA 2019-2020. The actress who looked like a diva is on could nine after bagging the award.

Speaking about her win Pooja in an exclusive chat with Spotboye said, "I am really honored, this was my first SIIMA. It's always great to win an award and that too best actress is like a dream come true.  The film and the character have been very special. I have a grateful heart right now. Maximum work has happened in these three years in my career but I have a long way to go, I am still a baby."



The actress who has been pretty busy with back-to-back films dedicates this win to her parents. "I would like to dedicate this award to my parents. I shoot four films at a time, I am rarely at home and they understand that. They are so supportive, they are my best cheerleaders and biggest critics, this is for them. So now if I am not there they can at least look at her (award) and be like she is working."

On the work front, Pooja has quite a line of films. She awaits the release of her most anticipated film Radhe Shyaam with Prabhas, then she has Crikus with Ranveer Singh, Bhaijaan with Salman Khan among others.
