FIR Filed Against Sai Pallavi For Her Controversial Remarks on Kashmiri Pandit Exodus; Bajrang Dal Demands Apology!
Sai Pallavi has landed in trouble for her recent statement on the lynching of the alleged cow smuggler. Well, her comments have certainly stirred up the heat on social media. Sai’s statement did not do well with Bajrang Dal and they were provoked to file a police complaint in Hyderabad against her.

The Bajrang Dal Bhagyanagar displayed their complaint letter on Twitter and said that a case had been filed against the Virata Parvam actor at the Sultanbazar police station. The group have also demanded that Sai should apologize to the entire country, especially to the Kashmiri Pandits, for her ‘venomous’ statements. They also threatened that if Sai did not meet the demands, “the situation will deteriorate further”.

It all started when Sai, during a YouTube interview for her new film Virata Parvam opposite Rana Duggabati, broke her silence on the Kashmiri Pandit Exodus in the early 90s portrayed in the film The Kashmir Files to the lynching of suspected cow smugglers.

Sai had a rather neutral opinion about the same and she said, “The film The Kashmir Files depicts the assassination of Kashmiri Pandits. A man was recently slain for carrying a cow because he was suspected of being a Muslim. The perpetrators shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ after killing the victim. Where is the line drawn between what occurred in Kashmir and what occurred recently?”

Meanwhile, a section of Sai Pallavi’s fans have defended her views on social media while others have expressed their concerns about the same.

Sai plays Rana Daggubati’s love interest in Virata Parvam. The film is inspired by true events where Sai’s character falls in love with a Naxalite.
