Global star Jr NTR has made a name for himself in the Indian entertainment industry with his spectacular performance in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. he has made waves internationally, as he attended various film events and interviews for the movie alongside the core team of the blockbuster movie. Well, with his fan base increasing day by day he has not only been getting more and more movie offers but also advertisement offers.
Jr NTR recently became the brand ambassador for McDonald’s McSpicy Chicken Sharers. For the unversed, he is the second Telugu actor to collaborate with McDonald after Rashmika Mandanna. While the advertisement received loads of love from the audience, it is now being reported that he has charged a huge sum of money to be a part of the fast food advertisement.
According to a report by Siasat.com, the 40-year-old actor has charged a whopping amount of Rs 6-8 crores to shoot the commercial. Yes, you read that right! As per the publication’s sources, the actor charges a “massive remuneration for each brand endorsement.” The statement hints that he has charged a similar fee for the new advertisement.
Talking about his collaboration with the brand, the actor, through a press statement, said, “I’m happy to join McDonalds (W&S) as their brand ambassador for McSpicy Chicken Sharers! It is an iconic brand that resonates with millions of people across the world, and to be a part of this journey feels amazing. I have always believed in collaborating and sharing, and the McSpicy Chicken Sharers speaks volumes about this spirit – Don’t Explain Just Share.”
On the work front, he is currently busy shooting for his movie Devara co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, which will be released in April 2024. If reports are to be believed, he will also make his Bollywood debut with WAR 2, where he will be playing the antagonist opposite Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir.
