CONFIRMED: Allu Arjun Starrer Pushpa To Release in Two Parts, The Second Part To Release In 2022
The makers of Pushpa have finally made it official that the film will release in two parts but only next year. Directed by Sukumar the action thriller film stars superstar Allu Arjun in a never seen before avatar. According to producer Ravi Shankar, the decision to split the film into parts was taken months back, he said, “We had decided to make it in two parts in last November only, as the story has a lot of span." Due to the pandemic, the shooting of Pushpa had to be halted and will only be resumed once the situation is under control. However, the producer claims that the first part has already been wrapped in just 110days. "The fights, chase sequences, songs, and main scenes have been completed. Only a song and a couple of scenes are left to be canned for the first part," he said in an interview.

While the makers are ensuring to release the first part by October or November this year, the second will be released in quick succession. "So far we have finished 10 percent of Pushpa’s second part. We are adding another song to the story as it has been split into two parts, the additional song is an item number. But we haven't yet decided on which heroine the song has to be shot", states the producer. The music of the film has been composed by Rockstar DSP.

Ravi Shankar also promises that the second part will be on a different level compared to the first part. "While part one is shot in Rampachodavaram, the second part will be shot in some exotic locations that will be a visual feast," informs the producer. Pushpa is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
