Singer Suchitra Ramadurai recently took the internet by storm by making shocking allegations against actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan in one of her recent interviews. Having made a name for herself in the music industry, she revealed that the Tamil entertainment industry is dominated by drug abuse. She alleged that the veteran actor served cocaine at his parties. During an interaction with a weekly Tamil magazine, she opened up about how he hosted ‘birthday parties’ in the past where he served the drug to his guests.

This shocking allegation has taken the internet by storm. While the 69-year-old actor and his team are yet to react to the accusations, Bharatiya Janata Party Vice President of Tamil Nadu, Narayanan Thirupathi demanded action against him. As reported by the Free Press Journal, he went on to state that if the singer’s allegations against the Makkal Needhi Maiam political leader turn out to be false, then action will be taken against her.



Well, as soon as her interview went live, the Chachi 420 actor’s photo with drug kingpin Jaffer Sadiq, who is also a film producer, surfaced on the internet. For those who don’t know, the filmmaker was arrested in March 2024 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for allegedly smuggling Rs 2,000 crore worth of drugs out of the country. A former DMK functionary, he has been the kingpin of the India-Australia-New Zealand drugs trafficking network. 

On the work front, Kamal Haasan will be next seen in Kalki 2898 AD, co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan. Last seen in Vikram (2022), he also has Indian 2 and Thug Life in his pipeline.
