Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has garnered a huge fanbase all over the world. Being one of the most sought-after actors, it is a given that fans and other celebrities would want to connect with him. For the unversed, he is one of the fewer celebrities who have refrained from having a social media presence, especially during the current digital age. While, his social media announcements are handled by his manager Suresh Chandra, we recently came to know that the actor doesn’t own a phone.
Yes, you read that right! During a recent media interaction, Trisha Krishnan was asked what she would save Kumar’s contact name as in her mobile. She revealed that the older actor doesn’t see the need to own a phone. According to India Today, a source shared that Ajith has his Man Friday, who is always with him, so there no need to have separated mobile phones. For the unversed, Trisha and Ajith are one of the most loved on-screen couples and have worked together in four movies, Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011) and Yennai Arindhal (2015)
The news portal further went on to share that the 51-year-old gets a new SIM card for every new movie he works on. Post the release of the movie, he changes the SIM car for the new project. He puts on a very professional front as he does not want to be disturbed by unnecessary phone calls and messages from people who aren’t currently working with him. On the work front, Ajith Kuamr is all set to leave the audience with his upcoming movie Thunivu. Set to release on January 12, ahead of Pongal 2023, the movie is said to be heist-thriller where the actor will be seen essaying a grey character. Directed by H Vinoth Kumar, Thunivu also has Manju Warrier, John Kokken, Samuthirakani in the cast. The film marks the third collaboration of Vinoth and Ajith.
