The popular Tamil actor Suriya was tested positive for COVID-19 a few months back and by thorough treatment, he fully recovered. Post recovery and the self-quarantine process he resumed the work for his upcoming movie Tamil movie “Suriya 40”. The movie is directed by Pandiraj and kept posting many pictures of Suriya from the set while shooting and they got viral on social media.

As per the current reports, the director of the movie previously planned to shoot an action sequence with a huge crowd but in the wake of the second wave of COVID-19 which is very hard-hitting, the director dropped the idea. Reportedly, the government of Tamil Nadu also imposed certain restrictions and announced a complete lockdown in the state. Therefore, director Pandiraj had decided to shoot the remaining sequences post the control over the second wave of COVID-19 and with the required people. As the movie includes many popular stars of the Tamil Cine Industry any in-vigilance may cause fatal to any of the team members

Talking about the movie, 'Suriya 40' is produced by Sun Pictures. The other prominent stars apart from Suriya are Priyanka Mohan, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, and Ilavaeasu.
