Siddique Files Complaint Against Revathy Sampath Over False Sexual Assault Allegations To The DGP Through Email- Read REPORTS
Malayalam actress Revathy Sampath took the entertainment industry by storm after opening up about her sexual harrasment experiences in the industry. One of them were against actor Siddique, who after the allegations resigned as Association of Malayalam Movie Artists’ (AMMA) general secretary on Sunday. The vice president of the organisation Jayan Cherthala had confirmed it. Now, he has lodged a complaint to the Director General of Police against the junior artist for falsely accusing him of sexual assault.

As reported by News18, in his complaint Siddique claimed that the allegations are a part of a large agenda. He reportedly filed the complaint through an email, as he is currently in Ooty. The actor dismissed the accusations and stated that the meeting with Revathy had happened in the presence of her parents. He further stated in his complaint that it is a criminal conspiracy to spread “false and scandalous allegations” against him.

The report adds that as per the 61-year-old, he met the actress only during the preview of a movie along wit her parents. In his complaint Siddique added that Revathy hadn’t alleged him of “physical contact or rape” in her social media posts in 2019 and 2021. He stated that that the allegations were only raised for the first time since August 24, 2024. The actor added that the allegations are an effort to tarnish his reputation while taking advantage of the present situation. 

Opening up about the allegations against the veteran actor, Revathy spoke about it in the wake of Hema Committee Report. During a recent media interaction, she claimed that the incident happenied he approached her when she was 21-years-old through Facebook and addressed her as ‘Mole,’ a term commonly used in Kerala referring to young girl or daughter.


Quoted by News18, Samapath said, “After completing my Plus Two, I had a terrible experience. Siddique sent me messages on Facebook. I had come to discuss a film. This incident occurred when I was 21 years old. He first approached me by calling me ‘Mole.’ There was abuse from Siddique’s side. During the discussion, he sexually abused me. The face he shows now is not the one I saw back then.”
