Comedian and TV host Subi Suresh passed away on Wednesday after suffering from a liver-related ailment. The popular television actor’s fans were in shock at her sad demise as she died at the age of 41. Suresh breathed her last at a private hospital in Kochi this morning.
Subi Suresh started her career as a mimicry artist and she became a household name following her entry into the evergreen comedy show, 'Cinemala'. Many were left impressed with her hilarious avatars in the show which is still loved by the viewers.
The late comedian gained popularity from her sensational show, and also got a handful of characters in Malayalam movies.
She was even seen performing comic roles in 'Happy Husbands', 'Kankanasimhasanam' and more.
Following her brief stint in ‘Cinemala’, she gained popularity with the kids’ show, 'Kutty Pattalam'. Her funny interactions with the kids were much loved by viewers. She was also seen in 'Kutty Kalavara', a special cookery show.
Suresh made her comeback to Malayalam TV in 2018 with the show ‘Labour Room’. In 2021, the comedian heaped applause for her befitting reply to a netizen who made a tasteless remark about her dressing style.
"I am fed up with such moral policing, Uncles. Thinking he was trying to be famous," she shared the post with her signature humour," her hilarious reply instantly gained much praise then.
Subi Suresh’s untimely demise has left the entertainment industry and her fans in deep agony.
