South superstar Mohanlal is a celebrated actor in the world. He has numerous accolades to his name. He has impressed fans with his acting prowess. The legendary actor has been part of some incredible films and played some amazing characters. Now, fans are awaiting his upcoming Malayalam film Monster. However, it seems that the film has landed in trouble.
The most anticipated film of Mohanlal ‘Monster’ is going to release this week on the occasion of Diwali. As per the reports, the film will not release in GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries except UAE (United Arab Emirates) due to bizarre reasons. The reason to ban the release of the film is due to LGBTQ elements in the film reportedly. However, there is no official statement shared by the makers yet. The magnum opus is submitted to Censor Board for re-evaluation with the hope of getting clearance from the board. But there are possibilities that the crime thriller might not release in GCC countries this week as compared to other places.
Talking about the film, Monster will release on October 21, 2022, theatrically pan India. In the film, Mohanlal plays the role of the investigation officer. The stellar cast includes Lakshmi Manchu, Siddique, Lena, Honey Rose, Sudev Nair, KB Ganesh Kumar and Johny Antony besides Mohanlal. The film is helmed by Vysakh and written by Lucky Singh. The trailer has already dropped and fans can not stop praising the Malayalam superstar.
On the work from, the 62-year-old actor was last seen in 12th Man which was a super hit film. His 2021 film Drishyam 2 garnered immense adulation and its Hindi remake starring Ajay Devgn will release next month.
