CBI 5: The Brain is the fifth installment of the CBI film franchise starring Mammootty is finally out and fans can’t keep calm. The actor is back and he will be seen reprising the iconic character Sethurama Iyer in the latest installment. 

The first reviews of the film are out on social media and CBI 5: The Brain has opened to a pretty good response. 

A Twitter user wrote, "A Good First Half with mainly setting up the plot..@mammukka's majestic walk with that bgm So far Good..All eyes to the Secondhalf..! Highly Unexpected kinda making from K.Madhu."







The audience is impressed by the first half of the film, it has a good turn of events. Another moviegoer tweeted, "#CBI5TheBrain ended up as just a watchable flick because of a weak script. The way #Jagathy was placed & the scene was really the gear shifter of the movie Other than that only the tail end impresses @mammukka starrer failed to match the brain of the audience today." 

Directed by K Madhu, and written by SN Swamy, ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ marks the fifth instalment of the popular investigative franchise. 

Mammootty is reprising the role of Sethurama Iyer, the CBI officer, for the fifth time, with the upcoming film. Actors Mukesh and Jagathy are reprising their roles of Chacko and Vikram respectively in the ‘CBI 5: The Brain’. 

Actors Renji Panicker, Sai Kumar, Soubin Shahir, Ramesh Pisharadi, Anoop Menon, Dileesh Pothen, Ravi Kumar, Harish Raju, Edavela Babu, Sudev Nair, Prasanth, Alexander, Ramesh Kottayam, Jayakrishnan, Prathap Pothen, Suresh Kumar, Chandhu Karamana, Azees Nedumangad, Santhosh Keezhattur, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Ansiba, Malavika Menon, and, Malavika Nair, have roped in to play supporting roles in the upcoming film.
