Chetan Chanddrra took to his official social media handle to share a horrifying video of his bloodied face after an altercation with the mob
Actor Chetan Chanddrra, who rose to fame after his work in the Kannada entertainment industry, recently encountered a scary incident. On Sunday, he visited a temple in Kaggalipura, Bengaluru along with his mother, for the occasion of Mother’s Day 2024, where he was brutally attacked by a mob. He took to his official social media handle to open up about the entire ordeal. Fans have come out in support of the actor and demanded action against people who hurt him.
In his video, Chetan claimed that he was brutally beaten up by a mob after he called out a drunk man for damaging his car. Sharing a video, where his face is badly injured with his shirt also having drops of blood splattered on it, he sought justice from the authorities. He added that a man, who seemed drunk, followed him and damaged his car. As he approached the man to confront him, a group of 20 people including a woman gathered around him and started assaulting him.
Quoted by the Free Press Journal, Chanddrra showed his bloodied face in the video and added, “Look at what happened to me. They attacked me and broke my nose. I received first-aid from the local police but the gang returned and damaged my car again.” As soon as the video surfaced online, fans took to the comment section of the post to express their shock. Many slammed the officials and urged them to take quick action against the assaulters.
If the report by the media publication is to be believed, a case has been registered at the Kaggalipura police station. The officials have arrested a suspect and the search for others involved in the attack is underway.
On the work front, Chetan Chanddrra made his acting debut in PUC (2008) alongside Harshika Poonacha. He went on to do many films like Premism, Rajadhani, Jarasandha, and Kumbha Rashi among many others.
