Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi breathed his last at the age of 40 in a hospital in Haryana, leaving fans brokenhearted
Renowned Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi left for his heavenly abode at the age of 40. His untimely demise has left his fans brokenhearted. Many have even taken to social media to condole his death and remember his songs. According to a report by Hindustan Times, he was admitted in a Haryana hospital at the time of his passing. He was admitted to a hospital in Hisar for quite some time as he was undergoing treatment for jaundice.
The report states that he was discharged from the hospital as his health started improving. However, his health deteriorated again. While he was admitted to the hospital again, he passed away shortly after leaving behind his musical legacy for others to enjoy. Singer KD Desi Rock on Tuesday morning took to his official social media handle to share the singer’s last photo with a caption, “Raju wapas aaja.”
Netizens immediately flooded his comment section to mourn the passing of Raju and dubbed him the king of tunes. One wrote, “Tribute to Raju Punjabi.” Another wrote, “"Diamond of haryana" Rip legend.” Other one wrote, “Long live legend of haryanvi music industry.” One commented, “A great tragedy in the world of music, the king of tunes Har Dil Aziz, our dear brother Raju Punjabi ji has said goodbye to the world.” Another commented, “Very sad news Renowned Haryanvi singer #RajuPunjabi ji is no more with us today. On the work front, Raju released his last song Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Accha Laga Tha, a few days ago. He was known for many other songs like Aacha Lage Se, Desi Desi, Tu Cheez Lajawab, Last Peg and Bhang Mere Yaara Ne and many others. He even collaborated with Sapna Choudhary for a project.
