Popular Punjabi actor Binnu Dhillon is celebrating his 44th birthday today i.e. on August 29. He one of the leading stars of the Punjabi cinema. He is fun to be around in person and a shining star when in front of the camera. However, there are a lot of things about the actor-producer that we bet you people don't know. So today as Binnu Dhillon turns a year older, let’s read some interesting facts about the actor.

The star made it to the Punjabi film industry via television. Binnu started his career with a TV show and later, he bagged a couple of other shows. And gradually, from television the actor shifted his base to the big screens. 

Besides being an actor, Binnu Dhillon is a professional Bhangra dancer. His lover for bhangra started growing when he was in college. Now, he is four times gold medalist in bhangra.

Although, Binnu has done some iconic comic roles in Punjabi films but he started his journey in Punjabi cinema with negative roles. The actor made his Pollywood acting debut in 2007 with Mitti Wajaan Mardi’, wherein he played a negative character.

Binnu Dhillon did post-graduation in theatres and television. On the theatrical ground, he has directed many plays. 
He is not only restricted to Pollywood, the actor has worked in some Bollywood movies too, such as ‘Dev D’, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’, ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’, etc. 

Besides acting and directing, he tried his luck in producing films as well. his debut movie as a producer was ‘Bailaras’ which didn’t do well at the box office. Later, he produced the film titled ‘Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan’ which was a major hit. After that, he has produced films like ‘Kala Shah Kala’, ‘Band Vaaje’ and next he will be producing films like ‘Jhalley’ and ‘Bomb Jigra’.
