Several assumptions were made back then and a lot of speculations suggested that creative differences and financial issues were the reason for their split, BUT all were way off the mark. After a decade, the real reason for their split has surfaced and SpotboyE.com exclusively has it from someone from the music industry and very close to their family.

So, here’s the TRUE reason why the famous musical Jodi which ruled the 90s walked their individual paths.

The split happened only because of their respective wives! Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, where sisters-in-law couldn’t stand each other and forced the brothers to go alag alag.

Revealing the details of the quarrels of the two ladies in question, the source said, “Their wives were dead against each other and didn’t want the brothers to work together. There were constant fights between the ladies of the house and things turned bitter to a point where the damage was irreparable. Personal matters started hampering professional life and that’s when Jatin-Lalit decided that the only way they could end this is by going away from each other's life completely."

Has time not healed it, we asked? Replied the source, “Not at all. In fact, things have worsened. At present, the situation is so bad between both of them that they have started avoiding going to same parties and functions.  If the situation is unavoidable, then they time their entry and exit with the organizers to ensure that they don’t come face to face.

Even the industry people are tired with their constant bickering. At times, if they invite only either of them, the other gets offended. The discomfort is very obvious from their body language and it’s written on their face that they can’t stand the sight of one another. Add this to the fact that their wives wash their dirty linen in public at the first opportunity and that gets terribly embarrassing for those who are around them. That’s why many times, people don’t invite both of them for their functions to avoid any natak or tamasha.

"What a big loss to the music industry," concluded the source.

Indeed.
