This Is What AR Rahman Is Doing To Avoid Getting Trolled Once Again

In July 2017, the Academy Award winning singer- composer had faced criticism post his concert ‘Netru Indru Nalai’ in Wembley Stadium, UK. Reason? The show witnessed  maximum number of walkouts as AR Rahman mostly sang Tamil songs. The attendees then vented out their anger on Twitter and complained that the singer-composer should have sung Hindi songs.

To avoid the trouble this time, the singer- composer announced separate concerts exclusively for his Hindi (October 20) and Tamil (October 21) fans in Canada. The organisers have released a promotional video of the concerts. At the end of the video, the maestro jokingly says, “The Hindi concert is for the Tamil fans and the Tamil concert is for the Hindi fans.”

Back in July, AR Rahman was trolled on various social platforms post his concert and a few attendees posted nasty comments for the singer composer. He had announced the concert in March 2017 via a Facebook post. He put out the post with a caption: “BTOS Productions and I are pleased to announce "Netru Indru Nalai" on the 8th of July at the SSE Arena, Wembley. Thank you for your patience, understanding, trust and love. It fuels our creativity, relentless hardwork and motivation. Finally, we have surpassed all our technical glitches and we are now ready to bring the concert to you on July 8th. The theme of the brand new concert will be 25 years of my musical journey from Roja to Kaatru Veliyidai.”

Coming back to his recent move of two separate concerts, we must say that the Mozart of Madras definitely does not want to disappoint his fans!
