Sonu Nigam Releases A Video Directed By Milap Zaveri Supporting PM Modi’s Decision Of Banning Rs 500 & 1000 Notes



Since the time Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the discontinuation of Rs 500 and 1000 notes, lot of Bollywood celebs have lauded the PM for his decision. Celebs like Jackky Bhagnani, Sooraj Pancholi even posted selfies and flaunted the new currency with pride.

But ace singer Sonu Nigam has gone a step ahead to show his support for PM Modi’s move. He has conceptualised a two minute video on the recent demonetisation of currency notes.

Written and directed by Milap Zaveri, the video named ‘Kaagaz’, features Sonu Nigam explaining the importance of paper and recites a small poetry. Sonu goes on to emphasize that it’s on paper where you read books and history is scripted. Sonu beautifully explains how a small piece of paper which you keep safely in a cupboard and call it Lakshmi, it’s a small piece of paper which reminds you of the departed. But when the value of the paper changes, it is nothing more than trash.He also expressed that demonetization might not be an easy step but will ensure all of us a better tomorrow.
