Radhe: Music Composer Rockstar DSP On Salman Khan,' Bhai Could Have Easily Sung Seeti Maar' - EXCLUSIVE
Salman Khan's Radhe The Most Wanted Bhai is the most awaited film of this year. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda. Speaking exclusively with SpotboyE Music Composer Devi Sri Prasad reveals his first choice for the chartbuster song Seeti Maar.
Music Composer Devi Sri Prasad popularly known as Rockstar DSP is at the top of his game. Known for his hit tracks in every film he takes on, he has become a force to be reckoned with. He has given the Indian music industry some of the biggest hits like Ringa Ringa, AaAante Amalapuram, and Daddy Mummy. Now, after their sensational hit Dhinka Chika, actor Salman Khan and DSP are back with the super hit song Seeti Maar. Speaking about the song the composer says, “I was expecting this kind of response because the first collaboration between me and Bhai Dhinka Chika had become viral and I knew this song with perfectly fit Salman Bhai. Plus this song also had great choreography by Prabhu sir and Disha Patani dancing which worked too for the song."
When asked did he consider making the superstar sing this song he said, "When we made this song we wanted Bhai to sing Seeti Maar and he could have easily sung it too. The lyrics of the songs are really easy, but Bhai felt Kamal Khan could do complete justice to the song. And he is right Kamal Khan and Bhai's combination has always worked in the past. I love Kamal’s voice." This would not have been the first time when Salman, would showcase his singing talent, he had earlier sung Hangover song from his movie Kick and Main Hoon Hero Tera from the movie Hero.
Praising Salman a little more, Devi said, "Even when he suggests something he says it like a request and not as a command. Bhai has great trust and liking for me and I respect him a lot."
Seeti Maar has been recreated from the song by the same name from the Telugu film, DJ starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. DSP's next projects include Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, F3, and Khiladi he has also been roped in as the music director for Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film tentatively referred to as RAPO19.
