Pritam & Amit Trivedi Join Baadshaho, Cutting Ankit Tiwari To Size

Ankit Tiwari was supposed
to do the whole album for the Ajay Devgn - Emraan Hashmi - Esha Gupta - Ileana
D’Cruz starrer Baadshaho. Now we hear that the film’s producers (Bhushan Kumar,
Krishnan Kumar and co-producer Milan Luthria) have approached Udta Punjab
composer Amit Trivedi and Pritam to set the musical tunes.
A source
close to the film says, “Ankit was initially supposed to compose the entire
album- but after the music of Tum Bin 2 didn’t get good response, he has been
asked to do the project only partially.”
The source further added that the decision of
adding Amit and Pritam was made last week. “The producers are yet to decide on
how many songs they require from Amit and Pritam. Both, Pritam and Amit, have
presented their scratches and the producers will get back to them soon on the
same,” added the source.

The principal photography of the film happened in Mumbai in August 2016 and the second schedule of Baadshaho commenced in December in Jodhpur.
Baadshaho has been delayed ever since Ajay Devgn’s mother Veena Devgan was hospitalused due to water accumulation in her lungs. Reports suggest that since then, Ajay attends to his ailing mother during nights while wife Kajol takes over in the day.
Coming back to the story, we hear, Ankit, did not argue with the producers and respected their decision. Think of it, what could he have said?
“It is very sad when such decisions are taken midway. Ankit is definitely disappointed but he can do nothing about it,” the source concluded.
