FIR Filed Against Ankit Tiwari, Akriti Kakar & Shilpa Rao
An entertainment firm has filed an FIR against singers Ankit Tiwari, Akriti Kakar and Shilpa Rao for not performing despite paying them Rs 30 lakh two years ago. The complainant also names Ankit’s brother, Ankur as accused in the case

i.e. Ankit and Ankur just can’t get rid of legal troubles. An FIR has been
lodged at Oshiwara Police station by USA based event management company Deep
VIP Travels against them, Akriti Kakar and Shilpa Rao for allegedly cheating
the firm.
A couple of
years ago, the company had reportedly got in touch with the singer-composer duo
and they had agreed to do a show for him.

Akriti Kakar was
also roped in for the concert and an amount of Rs 30 lakh had been paid to
Brotherhood Entertainment, which is owned by Ankit and his brother and Shilpa
Rao is a partner of the company.
Once the money
was received by the singers, they didn’t respond and are yet to honour their
word.

According to the
complainant Deep Kumar Vora, manager at Deep VIP Travels, he had flown down to
Mumbai from USA to sort out the matter but yet the singers didn’t respond. In
fact he had asked them to refund the money or do the show but yet again
received no response and hence he was compelled to take a legal action against
the three.
The police has
summoned the 3 singers for their statement. Inspector Arjun Rajane of Oshiwara
police station said, "We will be calling them for a statement soon. The
singers are not in town right now but they have been summoned."
Shilpa Rao Poses For A Photo Shoot
Prior to this,
in 2014 Ankit Tiwari was in a legal trouble for allegedly raping a woman. After
being acquitted, a few months ago, the victim in an exclusive interview with
SpotboyE.com had said that she will reopen the case.
