Ed Sheeran is finally in India! The singer surprised fans on Tuesday after he took to Instagram reels to share a video as he visited a school in Mumbai. The British artist was seen interacting with students and singing songs for them in the classroom. He is all set to perform in Mumbai for the final leg of his +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics) on March 16 as part of his Asia and Europe Tour in 2024. In the video, the 33-year-old said, “So, just arrived in Mumbai, India. We are going to be visiting some schools today, playing some songs. Following that, the English singer-songwriter was spotted in the classrooms, engaging with primary school children through games, interactions, and various small performances. Dressed in a simple white tee and shorts, Ed appeared to thoroughly enjoy his time with the kids, exchanging smiles throughout the visit. Bringing his guitar along, he even played his song "Shape of You" with the enthusiastic students.

The Grammy-winning singer's rapport with the students garnered favourable responses from online users. Numerous praised his humble demeanour and the genuine connections he forged with the students. "Respect to you for sitting down with the kids!" expressed one Instagram user. Another commented, "The man with a heart of gold."




The 'Perfect' hitmaker is all set to perform live at Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds in Mumbai. This will be his second concert in India after 2017 and fans are super excited. Prateek Kuhad will also sing live just before the main act. The crowd is going to witness Calum Scott’s opening act, which will feature songs like 'You Are The Reason' and 'Where Are You Now' to name a few.
