Robbery At Actress Neha Pendse’s Bandra Home, Jewellery Worth Rs 6 Lakh Stolen; Mumbai Police Arrests Servant- Read REPORTS
Actress Neha Pendse has made a mark in the Marathi and Hindi industry with her versatile performances. She enjoys a huge fan following on social media. According to a report by the Free Press Journal, her husband Shardul Singh Bayas’ jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh was stolen from their 23rd-floor apartment of the Areto Building in Bandra West, Mumbai. Their driver Ratnesh Jha filed a complaint about the same.

As per the media publication, Jha mentioned in his complaint that it was on December 28, when his employer informed him that his gold bracelet and diamond-encrusted ring, he had received as a wedding gift four years ago, were missing. The 47-year-old reportedly wore the jewellery outside and then entrusted it to their house servant Sumit Kumar Solanki, after returning home, to keep it in their bedroom cupboard.

Apparently, Solanki was responsible for various household tasks and he resided on the premises along with the other house servants. On the day of the theft, Shardul was preparing to go out and discovered that his jewellery was missing, He inquired about it to all the house staff, but no one had any knowledge about the missing item. At the time of inquiry, Solanki was not at work and when contacted he claimed to be at his aunt’s place in Colaba.

While the house help insisted that he had left the jewellery in its designated place, Pendse’s husband couldn’t find it despite searching for it. Bayas requested him to return soon, but Solanki delayed his return raising suspicions. Jha’s compliant with the Bandra police brought attention to Solanki as a potential suspect. While the servant has been arrested, the stolen jewellery is yet to be recovered.
