While the second wave of COVID-19 was very hard-hitting but several Marathi celebrities came forward to help through their social media. As a fact, many of them are donating blood and also post recovery and can be seen urging people to do so. Priya Bapat is among those celebrities who is an avid social media user and always motivates people with her posts. She was tested positive for COVID-19 and post-recovery she donated blood to recover many like her. Recently, she has posted a still picture where she can be seen on a recliner donating blood post-recovery. 

She wrote a very emotional note for her fans and also motivated to help COVID-19 infected patients, the note reads – “Finally I was eligible to donate blood post-Covid recovery. I want to take this opportunity to give it back to society. This is my first ever blood donation. YES. I know I should have done this way before. But better late than never. I am extremely scared of needles and thus never dared to even take injections. I am definitely a rare piece. My blood group too says so. As I am A negative (A ‘-‘ve). It is even more important for a person with a rare blood group to donate blood. My doctor said, “Blood is the only thing one can donate while they are Alive. And you should do it.” The colleagues and fans are pouring their love and praying for the good health of the actress.  


Talking on the work front, Priya Bapat is presently preparing for Aditya Kripalani’s English film ‘Father Like’. Reportedly she will share the screen with Singaporean actor Lee Haut in the film.
