Talented Marathi actress Amruta Subhash played a pivotal role in Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy. The film was India’s official nomination for the Oscars. Amruta plays the role of Ranveer’s mother in the film. In the category is that of the best actress in a supporting role, the talented Marathi actress Amruta Subhash won the trophy! She stood tall in competition with Amrita Singh for her role in Badla, Kamini Kaushal in Kabir Singh, Madhuri Dixit in Kalank, Seema Pahwa in Bala, and Zaira Wasim in The Sky Is Pink.
