Ketaki showing off her new jewelry
As Ketaki (Shilpa Navalkar) arrives for her nephews’ thread ceremony, all she is bothered about is her jewelry which she is trying to show off by making multiple excuses by calling her husband from the door, to looking for somebody at the function, to get her jewelry and accessories noticed. One can’t control their laughter looking at how hard she is trying to get her hair bun accessory noticed by her other sisters at the event.

Sadhana trying her best to sing
Sadhana (Sukanya Kulkarni) who had the most soulful voice and would sing for all Mangalagaur functions during her younger days, is now out of practice due to restrictions on singing from her father in law. With the entire gang of sisters coming together for the competition, Sadhana is now trying to regain her voice to sing in the contest and push her group towards the winning spot. While trying to get her singing voice together after ages of not practicing, she naturally messes up, making her music practices in the first half of the movie hysterical.

The sisters are shocked on seeing the young girls dance the modern Mangalagaur
The 6 leading ladies in the film are between the ages of 40 to 60 and are determined to win the Mangalagaur competition at any cost, even if it means competing with women half or double their age. To guarantee their spot in the competition, a group of trainers are called to teach the sisters, but to all their surprise, these young girls are extremely flexible and dance at 2x speed which leaves the ladies stunned and the viewers bursting in laughter

The sisters give Anna (Sadhna’s father in law) an earful
Sadhana belongs to an orthodox family where her father in law is against women of the house indulging in any creative activities, like singing or dancing or even painting. When Sadhana doesn’t arrive for the competition in time, the sister army heads to her house to bring her, where they give her father in law an hilarious earful through taunts, jokes and puns before leaving with Sadhana and her daughter in law.
