Amruta Khanvilkar Stands Up As The Voice Of A Domestic Violence Victim
Amruta Khanvilkar is spending most of her quarantine time on her social media. Some good messages, some motivation, some cooking, and some fitness! She has tried it all! Now the actress has also taken a stand for a societal cause. The lockdown has caused a lot of women to be grounded at home with their abusers. This has given rise to severe domestic violence cases. Amruta posted this in support of the victims.

The actress writes, “I am ANKITA & I am her voice today and the voices of the many victims of domestic abuse which are going unheard as they are locked up with their abusers in the lockdown”.

The actress represented an NGO that has been fighting for the cause of domestic violence. The actress further nominated Sai Tamhankar, Rutuja Bagwe, Pooja Sawant, Tejasswi Prakash, and Tejaswini Pandit to support in raising awareness about this campaign.

Talking about her work, Amruta's last release Choricha Mamla directed by Priyadarshan Jadhav was her last Marathi film released before lockdown. She will be seen next in Well Done Baby opposite Pushkar Jog. She also played a major role in the Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani starrer Hindi film Malang. After Raazi and Satyameva Jayate, this was her latest Hindi film.
