Shruti Hassan Makes A Yummy And Healthy Jackfruit Wrap, Wanna Give It A Try; Recipe INSIDE
Currently, Shruti Haasan is trying her hands and polishing her skills on culinary roll, and yes she has been sharing some delicious recipes from her kitchen. Right from the easiest omelette recipe to ice-cream and choco coffee mousse, she is sharing the delicacies on her Instagram. This time what impressed us is her healthy jackfruit wrap which she shared with the caption, “I can’t even begin to describe how good this wrap was!! I made three of them and it was super filling and healthy”. While sharing the her delicacy she also mentioned few do’s and don’ts to keep in mind while preparing jackfruit wrap.

To know how you can make it, read below.

All you need is:

Jackfruit
All seasoning herb
Garlic
2- Onions (medium sized)
Raw mango
Cucumbers
Spinach
Red chilli powder
2 cups – All-purpose flour
6 tbsp – Vegetable oil/ coconut oil or olive oil
Thyme
1/2 cup – Aduki beans or rajma
1/2 tsp – Cinnamon powder
Red chilli flakes
Lemon juice
Salt (to taste)

How you can Prep it:

*Chop garlic and onions and keep aside. Take a bowl and add some flour and knead it into a dough.

*Take a non-stick pan or Tawa and make the base of the wrap by making a chapatis using the dough.

*Next, in another pan add 2 tbsp of oil, chopped garlic, onion and fry till they get golden brown. Now add a hint of thyme and red chilli powder and saute them. Now add boiled beans and rajma and cook them for about 2 minutes.

*Add salt, lemon juice and cinnamon powder to your taste.

*In another pan, add 3 tbsp of vegetable oil and heat a little. Then add red chilli flakes and 3 tbsp of onion paste. Now add the chopped jackfruit and some water and let it cook. Shruti while sharing the do's and dont's mentioned that “please be ultra patient cooking down the raw jackfruit to an almost pulled pork like texture and add salt or spice as required to balance out the water that diluted the flavour.”

*Once the jackfruit is mixed and cooked, add a hint of lemon juice to it. Spread the roti or wrap with this mixture along with some crispy spinach and pieces of raw mango for a tangy flavour.

*Wrap it all together and enjoy your healthy jackfruit wrap meal.
