Sara Ali Khan is one of the fittest young faces in Bollywood today. Her physical transformation and amazing weight loss journey has been nothing short of inspirational. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter weighed almost 96 kg at one point, she has since shed the extra kilos. The journey has been a long and tiring one, as the actress has revealed during various media interviews. Varun Dhawan’s co-star in Coolie No. 1, reveals that she has no milk, no carbs and absolutely no sugar to maintain her weight.

She also supplements her diet with daily workouts. Though she’s extremely fond of pilates yet it’s weight training she swears by. Sara is often spotted outside her Bandra gym. And just like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara never skimps on workouts. When she’s busy filming, she ensures she has the wonder drink including Haldi, Spinach and Hot Water. It’s an elixir she swears by. Interesting, right? There’s something else she does – eating the same sort of protein for every meal, every single day.


Sara has chicken and eggs through the day, sometimes as much as three times a day, and especially while she is on shoots. 


Sounds a lot like Keto diet but the lady advices against this fad diet. She reveals that she has tried it and failed at it. Keto or not, Sara’s drastic transformation is praiseworthy, she has not just shed a ton of weight but has managed to maintain her fab form supplemented by energy-boosting no-carb meals and constant workouts.

When Sara appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, she had taken a moment to discuss her weight loss journey. The lady who would at one point sustain on pizzas (she would have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner) battled PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) which makes it difficult for one to shed weight.
