Samantar Review, Binge Or Cringe: Two Men With Same Fate Paint A Lovely Tale Of Destiny
MX Player’s new show Samantar is all about fate, horoscope, tarot reading and more such beliefs. The show is based on Suhas Shirvalkar’s book Samantar.

Starring Swwapnil Joshi in the lead, Samantar is the story of an ordinary man who is frustrated with his current fate. On his friend’s recommendation, Kumar (Swwapnil) agrees to meet a palmist who tells him that his fate is similar to another man who had come to him. After that, Kumar goes all out to find that man.

The show has many cuss words, though. So yeah, Samantar fares high on the beep meter.

Joshi and director Satish Rajwade make a promising digital debut. Though the pace of the show is inconsistent, it manages to hold one's attention. 99% scenes have Joshi in them but despite that, you don''t get tired of him.

Another actor who needs special mention in Samantar is Nitish Bhardwaj. Nitish's character is extremely strong and he fills up the screen with his towering personality.

The show has an open ending, indicating that Season 2 is soon on the cards. Samantar, which has all the elements of a thriller, is  worth a watch.

Our verdict is Binge-worthy!
