Armaan Malik and his two wives Payal Malik and Kritika Malik have become the talk of the town for their polygamous marriage after their participation in Bigg Boss OTT season 3. As soon as the trio were introduced as participants on the reality show netizens as well as various celebrities took to their social media handles to share their opinions on the trio’s love story. Now, a day after her eviction from the show, the YouTuber’s first wife Payal has made some shocking revelations about his second marriage.

In an interview with India Today, Payal spoke about Armaan’s decision to get married the second time and revealed that he didn’t convert to Islam to keep his second marriage. She went on to shed light on the Hindu Marriage Act and stated that it doesn’t allow more than one legal wife. Clarifying that she is the legal wife, she said, “I am his legal wife.” For those who don’t know, Armaan belongs to a Jatt family, and Payal is from a Gujjar family. She went on to explain that Kritika and Armaan’s wedding is not legal, however, according to the act if the first wife doesn’t have a problem with her husband’s second marriage then its not illegal. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “Kritika and Armaan ji's marriage is not legal. In a previous interview with Indian Express, Payal had expressed how Armaan had wronged her by falling in love with someone else as for 8 years she was completely dependent on him. After leaving her family to marry him, all she knew was being with him. She added, “Ekdum suddenly aisa hota hai ki unki life mein or koi aa jata hai. Toh definitely nainsafi toh hui hai.” Payal added that despite everything, she decided to accept his second marriage to Kritika for her son Chirayu and her love for him. 


For those who don’t know, Armaan tied the knot with Payal in 2011 and welcomed their son Chirayu Malik. After being happily married for six years, he married Kritika, Payal’s best friend in 2018. While Kritika recently welcomed her and Armaan’s first kid, Zaid, Payal welcomed twins Ayan and Tuba shortly after. The trio’s dynamics have left the netizens with mixed reactions and many celebrities have also taken to social media to share their disappointment.
