YouTuber Armaan Malik has been on the receiving end of scrutiny ever since he entered Bigg Boss OTT season 3 along with his two wives Payal and Kritika. They were criticised by the netizens for promoting their polygamous marriage on a family-friendly show. Well, as the trio made headlines for all the reasons, Armaan has now found himself in yet another controversy. An old copy of a First Information Report (FIR) filed against him in 2019, has gone viral on the internet.

Shared by a Twitter handle named ‘Khabri,’ the netizens shared old copies of the FIR, alleging that Armaan raped an 11-year-old minor girl, who worked at his house as a maid. The tweet also mentions that his first wife Payal Malik was aware of the case. The tweet reads, “This is the copy of FIR against #ArmaanMalik #ArmaanMalik has reportedly drugged &  r@ped 11 Minor girl and his first wife #PayalMalik is aware about it too. As soon as the post on X (formerly known as Twitter), surfaced on July 16, 2024, netizens took to the comment section of the post to slam and express their disgust over the YouTuber. Many even schooled the makers of Bigg Boss OTT season 3 for giving a platform to a rape accused. For the unversed, Armaan entered the show with his two wives Payal and Kritika. They came under fire after they opened up about their relationships during the premiere night of Bigg Boss OTT 3. He fell in love with Payal and tied the knot with her in 2011, just seven days after his divorce from his first wife Suchitra. They were reportedly married when they were kids. Payal and Armaan welcomed their son Chirayu Malik. After being together for eight years, he married Kritika, Payal’s best friend in 2018. While Kritika recently welcomed her and Armaan’s first kid, Zaid, Payal welcomed their twins Ayan and Tuba shortly after. 

The current season of Bigg Boss OTT 3 has contestants like Ranvir Shorey, Armaan Malik, Kritika Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, Lovekesh Kataria (Luv Kataria), Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Makbul, Shivani Kumari, Sana Sultan, Vishal Pandey, and rapper Naezy. In the last three weeks Neeraj Goyat, Payal Malik, Poulomi Polo Das, Munisha Khatwani, and Chandrika Gera Dixit (also known as Delhi’s Vada Pav Girl) were evicted from the show.
