Bollywood actress Vidya Balan announced her next venture on her social media, today. On Monday, the actress made a post on her Instagram and revealed that her next venture titled Sherni, will be released next month. Vidya shared a poster of the film and announced that the adventure-based drama will premiere globally on a streaming service in June 2021. The actress shared the new poster of her upcoming film while making the announcement. The poster of the film Sherni features Vidya Balan. 

On Instagram, Vidya Balan shared the new poster of Sherni and wrote, “Fearless as she steps out into the world!” She added, “Happy to announce my latest film ‘Sherni’ @primevideoin Meet #SherniOnPrime in June.@tseriesfilms @tseries.official @abundantiaent @ivikramix @shikhaarif.sharma @aasthatiku #AmitMasurkar #bhushankumar.” Talking about the poster of the film, it shows Vidya Balan in a never-seen-before avatar. The actress looks fearless and brave posing as a forest officer. She is dressed in a classy uniform and is clicked holding a gun.

Meanwhile, ‘Sherni’ stars Vidya Balan in a key role. She will be seen playing the character of an upright Forest Officer who strives for balance in a world of man-animal conflict. The film also stars Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala and Neeraj Kabi. This film is directed by Amit Masurkar. And, the film Sherni is backed by T-Series & Abundantia Entertainment. The movie is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime Video. Vidya Balan was last seen in the film Shakuntala Devi, on the work front. The movie based on the life of a math genius was also released on Amazon Prime due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
