The trailer of Shakuntala Devi starring Vidya Balan portraying the genius mathematician, Shakuntala Devi was released on July 15, 2020. Set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 31, 2020, makers dropped a song from the movie, Pass Nahi Toh Fail Nahi today. Going by its visual treatment seems like the song is Vidya’s onscreen character’s first interaction with the students in the movie. The lyrics of the song is high on motivation for the students for whom mathematics is nothing less than a nightmare.
In the song, the actress is seen explaining to students to take a chill-pill and not burden themselves with the pressure of studies. Lyrics of the song also indicate one needs to not be a failure just because he/she did not clear with flying colours, also lyrics inculcate how life is all about numbers, but one doesn’t have to keep worrying about it. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, penned by Vayu and composed by duo Sachin – Jigar, the audience will be witnessing the jolly side of the actress as she establishes a friendly rapport with the kids.
