Sai Ketan Rao, recently seen in Bigg Boss OTT 3, made headlines when he seemingly confirmed his relationship with his Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali co-star Shivangi Khedkar. For years, rumors have swirled about their relationship, but both Sai and Shivangi have consistently maintained that they are nothing more than best friends. During a "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode on Bigg Boss OTT 3, host Anil Kapoor questioned Sai about his relationship and marriage plans, asking if he would marry Shivangi. Although initially hesitant, Sai later appeared to confirm the possibility.
Following his eviction from the show, Sai addressed these rumors in an interaction with Telly Masala. He refuted his earlier statement, clarifying that his words were misinterpreted. Sai explained, "It's your perception, but on that day, Anil Kapoor sir mentioned two things on stage: one about Shivangi, who is my friend, and one about marriage. I agreed on getting married, but who I will marry is still uncertain. It might be this year or next year, let's see."
When told that his statement on the show gave the impression that he had agreed to marry Shivangi, Sai acknowledged the confusion. He said, "Exactly, I know it looks like that, but it's not entirely clear. I wish Shivangi all the best for her life. When and whom I will marry is still undecided. We are best friends and have always supported each other, both inside and outside Bigg Boss."
Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar worked together on Star Plus' show Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali, which is where their close friendship began. Despite the persistent rumors and public speculation, Sai reiterated that their relationship remains platonic and rooted in mutual support and friendship. His recent comments have aimed to clear up any misunderstandings and emphasize that while he does intend to marry someday, it may not necessarily be with Shivangi.
