Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Sacred Games 2 has finally hit Netflix at the midnight hour and fans excitement knows no bounds. Apart from celebrating Independence Day, fans are also celebrating the fact that they can finally watch Sacred Games Season 2 today. The first season was fabulous, the second season promises to be even bigger and better. We know most you have seen the series last night itself. Here we have got you some trivia. We bet you are hearing all of this first!

1. Sandesh Kulkarni who played young Gaitonde’s father in season 1 and Amruta Subhash who plays RAW agent Kusum Devi Yadav, Ranveer Singh’s mom in Gully Boy are real-life husband and wife.

2. Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap have co-directed the series. Motwane initially wanted to bring different directors onboard for each episode, but it couldn't happen due to dates issue. Motwane brought Kashyap on board because he felt that the two 'distinct voices' were essential for the 'parallel tracks' of story.


3. It is showed that Saif's character Sartaj wanted to become a cricketer. In real life, both his father and grandfather have played and served as a captain in National Indian Cricket Team.


4. Season one is just a quarter of the whole novel  The series is based on 900 page novel by Vikram Chandra. It took more than a year to write only one series script and the first season is just a quarter of Chandra's novel.
