Queen: Ramya Krishnan’s Uncanny Resemblance To Jayalalithaa In The MX Player Series Has Left Us Awestruck
The first look of Ramya Krishnan in Gautham Menon’s upcoming MX Player series titled Queen, has now been revealed. We are amazed at how convincing Ramya Krishnan’s character as late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa looks!
Biopics are currently the flavour of the season and several biopics are currently underway. Off late, web series have gained a lot of popularity, especially in India, allowing people to watch interesting shows and web series at their convenience. One such upcoming MX player series, Queen, seems to be racing ahead in the game. Gautham Menon’s series Queen is loosely based on the life of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. This series is co-directed by Prasath Murugesan and stars Ramya Krishnan in the titular role.
The teaser of Queen had just released a day ago, and the interesting 26-seconds clip showed a young schoolgirl and then later, a woman dressed in a white saree, giving public speeches. However, we do not get to see the faces of the actors in the teaser. Now, the first look of Ramya Krishnan has been revealed and the uncanny resemblance to an image of J Jayalalithaa has left us pleasantly surprised. In the picture, we can see Ramya dressed exactly the same way as J Jayalalithaa, in a white saree with tricolour border, and a bindi on her forehead. Take a look at both the pictures- Ramya Krishnan’s image, as well as that of an image of J Jayalalithaa from her youth.
