The Malik family has been in the limelight for the past month and a half because of their participation in Bigg Boss OTT season 3. YouTubers Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, and Kritika Malik were subjected to a lot of hate and criticism for their polygamous marriage. Despite maintaining their stance that they do not support polygamy, they were bashed from all corners. Fed up with the constant negativity impacting the lives of their kids, Payal had expressed her desire to divorce Armaan after he returned home from the controversial reality show.

Well, during the recent press conference episode of Bigg Boss OTT season 3, Armaan was asked about Payal’s decision. He expressed how it would be her choice if she wanted to separate from him and Kritika or not. While he supports her decision, he promises that they will figure things out after they leave the show and return home. Quoted by the Hindustan Timed, he said, “It is her choice. If she wants a divorce, I will support her decision. But we will figure out things once we are out. For those who don’t know, in a recent vlog, a distraught Payal had opened up about the hate she and family has been receiving hate from nameless and faceless trolls. She had said, “I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay but now the hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids.” She continued to express how, since Kritika wouldn’t be able to live with her son Zaid, she would leave the house with her three kids. According to Payal, in a recent interview, Armaan was earlier married to Suchitra. They had tied the knot when they were kids. Seven days after his divorce, she married the YouTuber in 2011 and soon welcomed their son Chirayu Malik. Having been together for eight years, Armaan married Kritika, Payal’s best friend, in 2018. While Kritika recently welcomed her and Armaan’s first kid, Zaid, Payal welcomed their twins Ayan and Tuba shortly after.
