Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is currently basking in praises and admiration for his performance in Kabir Khan directorial Chandu Champion. Based on the life of India’s first Paralympics gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar, he impressed the audiences with his acting chops. The heartthrob is one of the most beloved actors of his generation. On Wednesday, the makers of Kapil Sharma’s comedy chat show The Great Indian Kapil Show took to their official social media handle to share the promo of the upcoming episode where Kartik graced the set along with his mother Mala Tiwari.

In the promotional video shared by Netflix on Instagram, Kapil introduces the mother-son duo as they enter the stage. Kartik points out that he has never been more nervous as he is during the episode. As the comedian asks if it is because he is worried that his mom might say something, Tiwari says in Hindi, “I will speak the truth and nothing but the truth.” Kapil further adds, “Hearing this line, Kartik's father's lips dried up, hoping she doesn't say anything about him,” pointing towards the actor’s father and sister sitting in the audience. As the comedian asks more and more questions about the 33-year-old actor, Tiwari honestly answers all the questions leaving Kartik embarrassed. She goes on to wish and declare that she want a daughter-in-law who is a doctor by profession. For those who don’t know, Kartik’s parents are reportedly doctors. While his father is a paediatrician, his mother is a gynaecologist. As the video proceeds, Kapil, Kartik and his mother are seen hosting a ‘swayamwar’ where they talk to a few girls. On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He is currently gearing up for the release of Chandu Champion. The Kabir Khan directorial is based on life of India’s first Paralympics gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. The film will be releasing on June 14. He will be next seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, with Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri, Aashiqui 3, and Captain India. If reports are to be believed, he was approached by Sooraj Barjatya for a new film.
