Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik have been ruling the headlines ever since they participated in Bigg Boss OTT season 3. Their polygamous marriage has garnered a lot of hate and criticism from the netizens. The controversial reality show was caught under fire after a clip of the couple engaging in an intimate act under the blanket, during the night, has gone viral on social media. Now, the OTT platform, on which the show airs, has reacted to the viral leaked clip and has officially denied the claims. They have maintained that the video has been doctored.

In an official statement released by JioCinema, the makers stated that the streaming platform adheres to “strict programming standards and guidelines,” so that they ensure “quality and appropriateness” of the content that is streaming on their platform. They added that the ‘fake’ viral video has been doctored to include obscenity. The statement further reads, “ We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us. Assuring the viewers, quoted by the Hindustan Times, the statement further reads, “Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema. Recently, Armaan’s first wife Payal Malik, also commented on the viral clip and mentioned that the clip has been edited. Taking to her YouTube channel last Saturday, she said, “Whoever has shared the video claiming it is Armaan and Kritika's I would request them with folded hands to stop. The video is edited. I have stayed at Bigg Boss house and I can say that there are no lamps like the ones seen in the viral clip. The blanket is also different. Those who have stayed inside the house will quickly understand that the clip is fake.”


According to Payal, in a recent interview, Armaan was earlier married to Suchitra. They had tied the knot when they were kids. Seven days after his divorce, she married the YouTuber in 2011 and soon welcomed their son Chirayu Malik. Having been together for eight years, Armaan married Kritika, Payal’s best friend, in 2018. While Kritika recently welcomed her and Armaan’s first kid, Zaid, Payal welcomed their twins Ayan and Tuba shortly after.
