As half of the world’s population is on the digital space, the filmmakers and content writers are now churning out some content-driven stories and features that not only go on to become popular but also the actors gain momentum in their fan base. OTT platforms like Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee 5, Voot and many more are bringing their original series on their platforms, leaving everyone gripped. Apart from the show and story, the other thing people go crazy about is the stars in the series.

For instance, if one talks about Sacred Games, we automatically think of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan, when someone talks about Mirzapur, we relate the show with Panjak Tripathi, Vikrant Massey and Ali Fazal. As most of the people are switching from Television to OTT platforms, there are new stars who no emerging as a rising star in the digital space and here we are talking about stars like Maanvi Gagroo, Rasika Dugal, Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Sumeet Vyas, Shefali Shah, Arjun Mathur who have made a huge impact on the viewers and here are the top stars:

Maanvi Gagroo: The actress gained popularity after starring in the hit TVF web show, Tripling as Chanchal along with Sumeet Vyas and Amol Parashar. She impressed the masses by portraying the big sister in the show. She then went on to become a quite a popular face of OTT platform as she starred in Four More Shots and also Made In Heaven.



Rasika Dugal: She earlier starred in quite a few shows before attaining recognition. She did a cameo in a famous web series by TVF Permanent Roommates Season 2 Episode 4. She has also appeared as a lead actress in another of TVF's web series Humorously Yours (2017). TV serial Kismat as Lubna. She did a cameo in the film Tu Hai Mera Sunday. But gain fame with Mirzapur who played the wife to Panjak Tripathi. The lady won accolades for Delhi Crimes and now minting praises for her role in Hotstar’s Out of Love.


 
Sayani Gupta: She is one of the most powerful actresses in Bollywood. She made her feature film debut in 2012 in Second Marriage DotCom and then went on to appear in films like Fan (2016), Jolly LLB 2 (2017), Article 15 (2019) Margarita with a Straw as supporting roles. Gupta very effortlessly plays her role in each show, from a dedicated journalist to Four More Shots Please to a nerdy assistant in Inside Edge.


 
Kirti Kulhari: The actress made her first Bollywood appearance with Khichdi: The Movie in 2010, followed by a role in Shaitaan in 2011. But she featured in successful films including Pink (2016), Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) and Mission Mangal (2019). Even though she has big Bollywood movies under her name, she did the same on the digital space as well with Four More Shots Please and Bard of Blood.


 
Sumeet Vyas: Remember his cute act as Mickey in TVF’s Permanent Roommates? Ever since the actor was starred in the show, he is now a big name in the OTT space. Later, he was seen in Tripling and even featured in Veere Di Wedding alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Apart from his cute looks, Vyas also amazes the audience with his acting chops as well.


 
Shefali Shah: This lady doesn’t need any introduction. She is a very well-known face in Bollywood in movies like Waqt, Dil Dhadakne Do and now in the OTT platforms too, thanks to the hard-hitting content of Delhi Crimes. In the series, she was one of the police officers who completely wowed the audience with her strong presence.


 
Arjun Mathur: The actor mostly did commercials before getting into the digital space, even though he was an assistant director for Bunty Aur Babli, Rang De Basanti. He was also a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan and Onir’s I Am. Now, Arjun starred he in Amazon’s Series Made in Heaven, where he played the role of an entrepreneur along with Sobhita Dhulipala. His character is a gay man in a time where it was a criminal offence to be homosexual or indulge in homosexuality.
