When Kritika Malik was questioned by the media about the allegations against Armaan after her exit from the house, she was visibly upset. She responded, "I am not supposed to answer this personal question." She emphasized her faith in the judiciary, stating, "I have complete faith in our judiciary and that whatever decision is taken by them would be for the good." ALSO READ: OMG! According to the FIR, a case was filed against Armaan Malik in June 2019 for allegedly drugging and raping an 11-year-old girl. The YouTuber was arrested on September 23, 2019, in connection with the case but was later granted bail. Following her eviction from Bigg Boss OTT 3, Armaan's first wife, Payal Malik, was also asked about the alleged rape case but refused to comment.
Armaan Malik has been one of the most controversial contestants on Bigg Boss OTT 3, facing backlash for various reasons, including his polygamous lifestyle. Armaan married Payal in 2011, and they have a son named Chirayu Malik. In 2018, without legally ending his first marriage, Armaan married Payal’s best friend, Kritika. On December 4, 2022, he announced the pregnancies of both Kritika and Payal, stirring significant attention online. Armaan is now a father to four children: Chirayu, Tuba, Ayan, and Zaid.
In a recent exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Payal Malik candidly discussed Armaan's marriage to Kritika. She described it as "unfair" and revealed that she was heartbroken when Armaan married her best friend. Despite the initial hurt, Payal expressed that she has moved past the incident, highlighting the love and affection she now receives from both Armaan and Kritika. She said, "Dhoka nahi par woh fair bhi nahi tha. Mere saath galat toh kiya tha uss time. Abhi main unn cheezo ko bhul chuki hu. Armaan mujhse bahut zyada pyaar karte hai, Kritika bhi. (I won’t call it betrayal but yes, it was wrong. I have forgotten all that now. Both Armaan and Kritika love me a lot)."
