Speaking about the incident, Harshita said, "I had a very bad knee injury, a meniscus tear, a day prior to when we started shooting for Mirzapur 2. And then within a few days, we had a Lucknow schedule where I went with an injured knee. I was even sick as I couldn't eat well, being on medication and I ended up reaching the sets 5 hours late, dragging myself. I could not imagine pulling through the next few days without the support from the crew. It is a little overwhelming to really think about the care I got on the set. I used to get breathless between the action shots as I could barely eat anything due to the pain and was on medication, but somebody would get me glucose, my director would press my temples and everyone made sure I’m fine. Even while I rested someone from the production team would be around to keep checking on me. I could get through those days and shoot only thanks to my Mirzapur Family."
The much- awaited web series will see Harshita reprise the role of Dimpy Pandit. Mirzapur 2 is all set to release on October 23 2020 on Amazon Prime.
