Genelia D’Souza Endorses Vidyut Jammwal's Tweet Complaining About Disney+ Hotstar Snub; 'Fair To Want A Little Respect'
After Vidyut Jammwal called out Disney+ Hotstar for not sending him an invitation for 'Bollywood Ki Home Delivery' online event, Genelia D'Souza says that 'sometimes even life is not fair'
Only yesterday, Disney+ Hotstar announced Bollywood Ki Home Delivery where Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan came together for a live session to announce their films on the digital space. Seeing this announcement, Commando star Vidyut Jammwal called out on Disney+ Hotstar for not receiving an invitation for Bollywood Ki Home Delivery and also ignoring his film Khuda Hafiz. Speaking about the same, Riteish Deshmukh's wife and actress Genelia D'Souza writes a tweet on the same saying, 'sometimes even life is not fair.'
Sharing her views on her Twitter handle, she mentioned how the films are made with a lot of love, sweat and all and hence it is fair to expect respect and an invitation. Her tweet read, "Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat & a lot people giving it their all. Its only fair to want a little respect, its only fair to expect an invitation, its only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. keep walking my friend."
The Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya actress quoted Vidyut's tweet which read, "A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES."
