Game Of Thrones: Khaleesi Emilia Clarke Reveals The Finale ANNOYED Her; ‘Jon Snow Got Away With Murder, Literally’
HBO’s drama series Game of Thrones swiftly became a huge rage all over the world soon after its first season aired. The series also had massive popularity in India, with loyal fans waiting eagerly to watch each and every episode when it would release. However, what nobody expected, was the way the series ended. Fans were hugely disappointed by the finale, with Daenerys being murdered by her nephew-lover Jon Snow. While the makers of the show haven’t opened up about the disappointing end, Emilia Clarke, who played  Daenerys Targaryen for all eight seasons has revealed her feelings about the finale.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Emilia Clarke opened up about how she really felt for her character and that she was annoyed that Jon Snow got away with murder. She said, “Yeah, I felt for her. I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something? He got away with murder — literally.” She further added how after reading about the ending, she tried not considering what people would say. “I knew how I felt (about the ending) when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say. But I did always consider what the fans might think — because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so it’s just polite, isn’t it?” she added.

Looks like Emilia Clarke also has the same sentiments as that of Game of Thrones fans. On the other hand, Kit Harrington had something else to say entirely.

In an interview with EW, Kit Harrington had talked about Daenerys’ death, and said, “I think [the finale is] going to divide. But if you track her story all the way back, [Daenerys] does some terrible things. She crucifies people. She burns people alive. This has been building. So, we have to say to the audience: ‘You’re in denial about this woman as well. You knew something was wrong. You’re culpable, you cheered her on.'”
