Engineering Girls which tells the story of three feisty girls, Barkha Singh, Sejal Kumar, and Kritika Avasthi as they navigate the halls & hostels of their engineering college, is back with season 2. The series is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and will be premiered on Zee5 on 27th August.

Engineering Girls’ is a fresh take on the engineering hostel experience. Featuring three of the most popular young online talents, Barkha Singh, Sejal Kumar, and Kritika Avasthi, the show follows the misadventures of three women who want to leave a mark on the world, despite the odds.

 Barkha who will continue to reprise the role of Sabu is a fearless girl and she can do anything for her best friend. Speaking about the new season the actress says, "Season 1 was about girls entering college, and season 2 is about the final year of college. There's lots of parties, masti, and personal growth which the audience will get to witness and can easily relate to."

 The show tells the story of three feisty girls,Teja, Maggu, and Sabu, and how they are beginning to get serious about life after college in their final year. Barkha adds, "Engineering Girls will always be about the friendship between Sabu, Maggu, and Kiara. In Season 2 you will see the ups and downs which every friendship goes through, but at the end of the day, it also teaches you about loyalty and trust that you look out for yourself and for your friends. The audiences will fall in love with the girls all over again."

 The first season of Engineering Girls which released in 2018 became quite popular among youngsters and the second season has raised the anticipation of the fans for the show. The actress who started her career as a child artist was last seen in Manoj Bajpayee's show Silence... Can You Hear It? Engineering Girls will start streaming on Zee 5 from 27 August.
